Women on Mission

Women on Mission allows women, regardless of age, to be involved in missions discipleship.  Women on Mission allows members to reach out to their community to lead others to Christ, be encouraged to pray and give to missions, learn about missions so they can be more effective in mission causes, and personally grow in the missions lifestyle.

Currently Holly Springs Baptist Church has one Women on Mission group.  The "Mission Action" group meets on the fourth Monday of each month, at 7 PM, in the family room of the Christian Life Center.  This group conducts a different mission action/ministry project each month.  In addition, the group has an emphasis on praying for missionaries and others in need of prayer.  The meeting closes with light refreshments and fellowship.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child was created in 1990 by Dave and Jill Cooke for children in Romania. Dave contacted Franklin Graham to ask if he'd like to assist in getting more shoeboxes packed for children in Eastern Europe. Dave Cooke started Teams 4 U, while Franklin took on Operation Christmas Child as a project of Samaritan's Purse.

Each November thousands of churches, groups and individual donors prepare and collect shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, personal items, and other small gifts. These boxes are then distributed in over 100 countries through national teams of volunteers who are connected locally to the children receiving the gifts.  Our church has chosen to have special emphasis throughout the year on selected items to go in the boxes.

Men on Missions

Our men are involved in a construction project each year leaving around Memorial Day to assist churches in need.  Their projects have allowed them to unite with other men's groups from local churches and build educational buildings, worship centers, etc.

Romania Mission Trip

We have partnered with a church in Romania and have sent teams to preach and spread the gospel at their request on a regular basis.  This ministry is headed by our pastor
