Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17
A place for men to be men, assisting one another, encouraging one another, praying for one another. Not only men, but also young men and boys are welcome. Come as you are from work the second Monday each month at 7:30 p.m. for a time of encouragement. The evening begins with a discussion of how we can affect the community and church physically. What can we do to make things work better? This is followed by a special speaker who has influenced the lives of our members or possibly a program to help in our daily Christian walk. The whole program lasts an hour. For those who can stay we have a meal, sometimes as simple as soup with cornbread, sometimes, barbecue, and always a delicious dessert. Our latest community project is to adopt 2 1/2 miles of road around the church and keep it clean (through the Department of Transportation). We also plan quarterly recreational activities which have included a corn hole tournament and skeet shooting.
